Alerts

Alerts are actions that need to be met to receive a notification of an occurrence.

When to use them?

Alerts are important or time-sensitive actions that need to be addressed. A good example of an alert would be an alarm. Alerts send an immediate notification that could help you save time, resources, and assets.

For example,

  • When downtime is taking longer than expected
  • A critical Temperature in the process is higher than recommended
  • A metric in a Form is non-conforming
  • Scrap has gone over a certain amount
  • A scheduled machine is not reporting production
  • A reminder is needed for regular events (such as quality checks)
