Alerts are actions that need to be met to receive a notification of an occurrence.
When to use them?
Alerts are important or time-sensitive actions that need to be addressed. A good example of an alert would be an alarm. Alerts send an immediate notification that could help you save time, resources, and assets.
For example,
- When downtime is taking longer than expected
- A critical Temperature in the process is higher than recommended
- A metric in a Form is non-conforming
- Scrap has gone over a certain amount
- A scheduled machine is not reporting production
- A reminder is needed for regular events (such as quality checks)
