September 2020 updates to improve the software and experience.
- Updates to the Kanban cards - We made updates to the layout of the Kanban cards which now show estimated time to complete based on your ideal cycle times and standard changeover time. It will also calculate the time remaining based on how much you've produced so far on each individual work order. Additionally, it will total up the number of parts, the total estimated time to complete, and the total estimated time remaining of all of the work order cards in a column.
- Creating a Part if it Didn't Exist - If you import a schedule, and the part number doesn't exist, the system will now create that part with the description you provide. This saves a lot of time going back to update details.
- Scheduling renamed - Some of the scheduling screens are renamed to Work Orders, which will now be the official name.
- Custom schedule statuses - We have 4 set statuses that are system-level that mean specific things. Now, you add custom statuses to stage your work orders.
- Run no part/no product on a machine - We will also be adding the ability to categorize a machine run as 'no part' or 'no product'. Essentially, instead of associating a downtime event with a machine when it's not running a part or product, you can associate a specific no product or no part code.
- iPad Application - We will be releasing a native iPad application for the operator interface in October. It's a fully functional iPad app that mirrors the capabilities of the web version of the software.
- A massive amount of bug fixes
