Notification Preferences

Would you like to decide how you receive alerts - phone, email, both? Now, you can set preferences for you and your team.

There are two ways to configure your preferences - check it out here.

Launch of the Fire Stick App

An Amazon Fire Stick will display your scoreboards on the factory floor. Scoreboards are a great way to see, in real-time, how a particular machine, department, or cell is running at a glance.

Launch of SensrTrx Lean

Deploy SensrTrx in 1 day and immediately start collecting data with Lean. With pre-configured sensors, connect wirelessly to the cloud, and gain visibility on the factory floor. Track your machines and begin seeing performance in real-time.

Ability to Translate

As SensrTrx grows, we realized it would be necessary to include the ability to translate to multiple languages. Users and administrators can now choose their default language.

Changeover Time Tracking

You can choose a reason code to track setup and changeover time automatically. When a machine changes parts or jobs, the system will automatically track the time from the changeover until the first part is received from the machine.

To enable Changeover Tracking:

  1. Edit the machine or cell
  2. Click the settings tab
  3. Choose a Changeover Reason from the drop-down menu

Parts Per Cycle

SensrTrx now supports the ability to track parts per cycle. This is helpful for companies that use molds like injection molding or blow molding where the machines make multiple parts on each cycle.

Custom Fields

You can now add custom fields to the company, part, and cell/machine objects. You can use the custom fields in alerts, dashboards, and anywhere else in the system. There is no extra charge to use the custom fields, but they are turned off by default. Contact your account manager to have them enabled.

Custom Calculations

The sheer amount of custom calculations that can be created is vast and wholly dependent on the needs of each manufacturer.

For example, let's say you have 4 or 5 people on a production line and want to know how much product was produced during a particular hour. You would create a custom calculation that measures production per person, per hour.

The possibilities of calculations are endless.

Alerts on Field Comparisons

Originally, you could only set alerts with static values, but now, you can compare them against other fields and objects in the system.

Allow Weak Passwords by User Group

By default, SensrTrx asks for complex passwords which are good for security purposes, but they can be hard for operators to remember. You can now allow weak passwords by the security group.

Updated Dashboard Editing Tools

Overview: Dashboards are one of the more complicated parts of SensrTrx. We have been working hard to improve the user interface to make it easier to learn and use.

  • Simplified field picker: The field picker now shows a description of the field and sample. There is also a search box that helps you quickly find the field you want.
  • Simplified widgets: We simplified how widgets are added to the dashboards and created shortcuts for the most common ones like Pareto Charts. You can see a preview of the widget before you choose to add it to the dashboard.
  • Smarter filters: When adding filters to a dashboard widget you can choose from a list of values rather than having to remember ids or names. For example, if you want to filter by a machine, choose that machine from a list.
  • Smarter aggregates: We now default how numbers are aggregated based on the data. For example, the system will suggest to sum quantities or downtime duration.
