Connect to a Fire Stick using the Vysor Application to control displays from a Networked PC
Download Vysor
Download the Vysor application here.
Download ADB Drivers
Download the ADB drivers through the Vysor application.
Enable ADB Debugging on Fire Stick
For this to work, you will need to enable the "ADB debugging" setting. To do this, you first need to enable Developer Option. This can be done on the Fire Stick by going to "Settings" on the home page, then to "My Fire TV", then to the Fire Stick model you have (Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Stick Lite, Fire TV Stick 4K, etc.). Click on this model name 7 times. You will receive a message stating that you are now a developer.
Next, on the Amazon Fire Stick, go Back so that you are in the "My Fire TV" menu, then go to "Developer options." There you will be able to turn ADB debugging ON.
Get Fire Stick IP Address
While at the Fire Stick, get the IP address for the device. This will be needed in the set up later. To find the IP address on the Fire Stick, go to "Settings", then "My Fire TV", then to "About." Then navigate down to "Network" to see your IP address. Note this down for later.
Connect to Vysor
On the PC with Vysor installed, open the Vysor software and click "Connect Network or Shared Device".
Then input the IP address of your Fire Stick and click "Connect."
You will notice that the Android side of the screen has populated with data regarding this connection. There may also an error that appears at the top of the screen. This is because we need to enable the connection on the Fire Stick as well.
On the Amazon Fire Stick display, you should see a message asking to allow USB debugging. Check the box to "Always allow from this computer" and then select OK.
You should now be able to access the Fire Stick through the Vysor software. The Fire Stick will show as an android device. Pressing the "play" button for the given device will pull up a window displaying the Fire Stick Screen and allowing you to control it.
